Innovative AR-Enhanced Gallery Features Blind Canvas Project; Red Ribbon Cutting Followed by Sensory Evening Experience
ASBURY PARK -- Would you dine in the dark to learn about blindness? A new Disability Awareness Art Gallery has arrived in Asbury Park with a twist to the traditional art experience.
The Able Art Alliance Red Ribbon Cutting event, July 24 at 6 p.m., includes a reception open to the public, followed by a ticketed "Dining in the Dark" experience at 9 p.m.
The Able Art Alliance Gallery has a mission to unite groups and encourage understanding through art, storytelling, and experiences. What makes the gallery unique? All artwork comes alive with artist interviews when scanned through a smartphone camera.
